Everybody Eats Website

The public-facing website for Everybody Eats, the New Zealand charity behind a network of pay-as-you-feel restaurants serving restaurant-quality meals made from rescued ingredients. Migrated off Webflow onto a fully open-source stack (Payload CMS with a Next.js front end), cutting subscription costs and giving the team unrestricted control over content and design across dining, fundraising, volunteering, impact reporting, and events, from booking a table to backing the annual gala.

Fair Food Volunteer Portal

Built for Fair Food Aotearoa, an Auckland-based charity that has rescued over 4.7 million kilos of surplus food since 2011. Replacing SignUpGenius with a purpose-built platform, it coordinates volunteers across three programmes (Pack Kai Boxes, Conscious Kitchen, and Inclusive Volunteering) with accessibility-first shift booking and bilingual English/te reo Māori content. Built on Next.js and React with Prisma and Postgres, Tailwind CSS, and Playwright end-to-end tests, tailored to a community of 400+ active volunteers.

Built for Everybody Eats, a charity rescuing surplus food to serve free restaurant-quality meals to communities across New Zealand. The portal coordinates volunteer shifts across multiple kitchen locations, tracks individual and team achievements, and uses a gamification system with badges and leaderboards to drive ongoing engagement and retention. Available on web and as native iOS and Android apps.
